Laying the foundation of our company are two key personnel, Certified Public Accountant Martha Henninger and Staff Accountant/Business Administrator, Coleen Scaffardi.
Martha Henninger, Owner/CPA
Martha is a 1989 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She has worked in a local accounting firm as a staff accountant since 1985 and achieved partner status in 1990. In September 1998 Martha started her own firm, Henninger Accounting Services, P.C. Her experience includes audits, reviews and compilations of financial statements for profit and non-profit organizations, tax preparation and planning, and computer training and support for Peachtree and QuickBooks Accounting Software. Martha is one of the firm’s in-house training instructors for QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting classes. She is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and she is certified by the state of Pennsylvania as a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE). She is also registered to practice in North Carolina. She is the past President of Hempfield Township Rotary Club and Executive Women of Westmoreland, and the past Treasurer of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce.
Coleen Scaffardi, Staff Accountant/Business Administrator
Coleen is a 1971 graduate of Business Careers Institute with a certificate in Accounting. Her 30 plus years of experience include all phases of accounting, from financial statement preparation, audits and reviews for profit & non-profit organizations and payroll, to tax planning and tax return preparation for both individuals and businesses. Coleen is one of the firm's in-house training instructors for QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting classes. She is also a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners, the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries and she is a past Board Member of Parentwise, Inc.
